What is this area about?
Here you will find out most everything you need to know about me. If you have another question that is not adressed here. please ask me!
Who is Robert Hunt?
Good question. For starters I am the creator of this website. I am currently a student at DigiPen Institute of Technology. My major is "Real Time Interactive Simulation." Which basically means "Video Game Development." This degree includes extensive courses in graphics programming, high level math, physics, and english for game design. I am currently in my fourth year at DigiPen, and am looking forward to graduation and getting a job in the field. Currently my greatest ambition on the job front would be to work for Valve Software.
Ok, so I know who you are. What now?
Another good question! well you could have a look around at the projects I have done. Links are on the right. My current project is Operation Stop Core. Which is a 3D puzzle adventure game. Also check out Project Mayhem, a top-down multiplayer arena combat game. Most of all just have fun, and keep your hands to yourselves.
Why do you like Valve so much?
Well it's a long story. Mostly it's because I love that they focus on gameplay first, and graphics second. Unlike some other new FPS' I've played *cough*DOOM III*cough*. But I would have to say my biggest reason for liking them is thier dedication to the MOD community. Half-Life would never have been the behemoth of a seller it is if it wasn't for Counter-Strike. Don't get me wrong. I thouroughly enjoyed Half-Life single player and multiplayer, but Counter-Strike really made a name for the game. Do you have an Xbox Gamertag?

You sound like a pretty tech-savvy guy. What kind of computers do you run?
You'd be correct about that. For those interested, you can see my computer setup here. The computer on the right is the linux machine you are viewing this web page from. It also hosts my Half-Life 2 Deathmatch server. More info and its specifications can be found here. The Laptop computer on the far left is where I check e-mail, use instant messengers, etc. look up strategy guides, etc. It's a Dell Inspiron 8200, 1.6 Pentium 4. I plan to soon replace this old laptop with a new Macbook Pro. The desktop computer on the left side of the picture is my pride and joy. This is my main machine, where I do all of my gaming, storage of all of my music and videos (Fansub anime, etc), and do all of my programming work. Here are more specifications than you probably care to know:
